If you're single and in need of a little help to get Cupid to notice you, my advice is don't stay in, moping about. Instead, get dressed up and head straight to a nightclub. And this year, I'm afraid to say, you may not be able to avoid it because Valentines Day falls on a Saturday.
So even if your usual hangout spots haven't got anything special planned Valentines Day at Belfast clubs will no doubt be rammed pack with hopeful hearts. That's just what happens on Valentines Day.

Belfast clubs have even gone so far as to put on some special events to help set their customers hearts all aflutter. At least if you're going out with the specific aim of hunting down a new girlfriend or boyfriend …

Christmas shopping in Belfast

It's happened again. It's nearly Christmas and the thought of getting all my shopping done seems like a Herculean task.

Luckily, Christmas shopping in Belfast isn't too hard because it's such a compact little city.

And thank the heavens above for Victoria Square, it's made Christmas shopping in Belfast a little easier.

I still go to Castle Court but, for Christmas shopping in Belfast, especially when I want something unique, I always go to that great European market at the City Hall which, thankfully, they've put on again.

I think Castle Court is best for the sales but that market, well it's great because even though I've done my Christmas shopping in Belfast it looks like I've crossed continents. How …

Girls and boys, it's nearly Valentines Day! If you're single this can be an exciting time. Will that guy you've been gawping at in the office send you a card? Will you recieve a card from someone other than a friend/family member who knew you weren't going to get any cards and didn't want you to feel like a sadcase? Will you meet the man of your dreams? All of these things are possible. However, if you're in a relationship, 14th February can be like judgement day. You have to choose what you do very carefully and sorry boys, this is really up to you.
