Storm Cinemas. Good times. Great cinema. This it their tag line but the experience has become somthing else lately. This used to be the best cinema in the provine but I will not be back as there is a llot of competition now and this cinema fails to meet the standards in the likes of the Odeon in Victoria Square in Belfast City Centre. You now have to buy the tickets where the popcorn etc is sold so this can take up to 30 mins and did last night 16/1/2009. I was organised and ordered my tickets online and collected them with no bother but we then had to stand in a queue for 30 mins to get a drink and some popcorn which are normal constituents of the cinema experience.
As a result of this we were put in the front row of the cinema which resulted in a less than enjoyable way to watch a great film called Slumdog Millionaire. This cinema did not have a problem with the way the queuing and the kiosks worked before pre Storm so I would suggest that a ticket desk is still required or some advertising done locally to explain to the cinema goers of an easier way to order tickets. In future I will not be going back to this cinema as the tickets are cheaper in the Odeon, the car parking is cheaper, you are actually in the CIty Centre and there has been no queues on the 3 occasions that I have been.Stephen Webb
Took my girls here to see High School Musical 3 and we had a great day out.
