Used to go here quite often. Visited again last night and it's really gone downhill. Customer service is non existent and the doormen are disgustingly rude. Can't say that I'll be back again in a hurry.
Went out for a few drinks and a bite with the missus and I have to say it was a great night! The Guinness was well poured, the venue was clean and the staff were pleasant. I had fish and chips, the wife had pasta and the food was surprisingly superb!
Great crowd, great atmosphere and fantastic music. I love Laverys.
called into here on friday afternoon for bite to eat+oh boy was i surprised!
eat out quite lot in belfast+this was hands down the best meal i have ever tasted in belfast
the steak was cooked to perfection+when my dessert arrived thought id died+went to heaven-milk choc cheesecake made fresh that day
kid friendly+very good value for money, the staff were very friendly+helpful laverys my new eat out lol
Great spot for a night out. Great entertainment, live sport and food but wheres Wardrobe and Wahada gone?
Terrible! Recommended to A friend from newcastle that we could go to Laverys to watch the only match on telly that night---newcastle vs notts forest only to be told "we cant turn the volume on for the game until my tunes have finished on the jukebox. We were told this by A barman! Needless to say, after 30 mins of country music ,we got our dinner and drinks in A Nearby bar where the match did have volume! I own A hostel in belfast and feel Laverys reflected really poor Customer service. Would Definatly not recommend!
Always have loved Laverys; back bar, upstairs, pool rooms etc all provide a great night, usually with a good crowd!
They usually have wine and beers on special offers and upstairs they have lots of great prices for vodka, shots and Stella artois.
food is quite tasty too
went to laverys at weekend first time in belfast have to say a great pub, the food is fantastic the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the drink very reasonable more importantly.
was there celebrating our friends 30th birthday and the manager kindly sent us over 2 bottles of champagne on the house we were very impressed.
all in all a great pub. we would definitely recommend it.
I play pool here and watch the sports with my mates, great place to hang out and keep you entertained!
