ate at darcys over a year ago and really enjoyed it so thought we`d give it another go last weekend and was yet again very impressed by not only the food but great friendly service by the owner and his daughter.food locally sourced was very well presented and absolutely delicious.i am a chef myself and all i can say is give this wee restaurant a try you will not be dissapointed !! we were given fresh warm herb bread i had monkfish with chirozo in a garlic and cheese sauce to start and my partner had the mussels .main course i had poached salmon with a creamy white wine and leek sauce new potatoes and seasonal veg all included in price my partner had the mini mixed grill with homemade chips delicious!good wine list the bill was very reasonable.they do a special every day of week before 7pm food £7 and 1st glass of wine £1 give it a go its a wee gem of a place
I came here a while ago but the food was so good i can still remember it, crispy magners cider battered scampi. Boy was it good! Am definitly going again soon as my friends tell me its still getting better!
