Visited on Sunday 10th June with our assistance dog. We asked if it was OK to bring the dog in and the barman was very welcoming but had to check with the manager. After the manager had looked us up and down we were admitted to the empty bar and told to sit in the corner. All the 'normal' folk were in the dining room. We certainly didn't feel welcome & only stayed for the one course; the food was tasty enough but average. Maybe the management should read up on their DDA responsibilities. I will send them the Equality Commission's Assistance Dog Guidelines.

This restaurant is brilliant! Food is first class, the staff is so welcoming and service is always fast. Been in alot and a known fact is that they are always busy and if there is a wait of any sort we are always told on arrival. Could not fault the Wild Duck Portglenone.

My daughters wedding was held here in the function room in May this year. The venue was stunning, the food superb and everyone was offered more of everything. We had a choice of main, The service was excellent and the organiser Eileen was a star. The bill was very reasonable and the bar prices also. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to everyone. The service was very friendly. Everyone was amazed at how wonderful the hall looked and we were the only wedding as they only cater for one wedding per day. Thanks very much to the Wild Duck. Definite 5 stars.

wnt for a family function about 1 month ago the soup was cold and the service was not great but i can let that go as they were busy but they should have more staff on the portions were not overly big but that might have been because it was a set menu. will probably go bac to give them the benefit of doubt but if i get cold soup again will def not be back...

Was really disappointed, the service was non existent, waited 25mins b4 being given menus, a further 20mins b4 our order was taken! Each time we had to ask or I think we would stil be sitting. I ordered a glass of wine when drinks arrived I had bottle of wine and no glass, the waitress said she would get me one. Eventually. When we booked we enquired was it a set menu, or can u order from al a carte. We were told no problem!. That was until we came to ask for it, we were told they were too busy to serve a la carte. Food which we did get. Eventually was quite good as Sunday Roast goes! But we were all too fed up to even enjoy it! Wont be rushing back! This is the 1st time I have been compelled to write such a bad review for anywhere! Wild Duck Management sort out your staff!

attended the wild duck portglenone for pre booked dinner with my family
service was terrible from start to finish

upon entry we had to find our own table
we had to ask for menus
and we weren't asked for our drinks order
and also we had to ask the waitress to take our menu order

our full desert order did not arrive at the table until we asked the waitress and tea and coffee was not offered until again we asked which was part of their set meal menu

although the food was good front of house was very very disappointing

an extremely poor service

Was disappointed with the service had to wait 20mins to get a table then 20mins for our started main course of turkey was lobely but was charged for a 3 course meal when only had two- was told 'that is the way it is', i said this was not explained prior to our order and reply was 'yes they dont explain it well'.Not good enough will not be in a rush back as a local i think this is a shame.

Well ask in future then b4 u order. I always ask how much a 1 course, 2 course, 3 course, 4 couse is!. And the fact that you had to wait on a table says it all! From someone who really enjoyed the serice and meal.

Cafe Vaudeville

This is a grand restaurant with a Parisian boudoir style interior- it needs to be seen to be believed!
